Vojna Memorial in Lesetice
& The Holy Mountain in Pribram

This authentic tour will take you to discover the museum of communism victims and uranium mining history along with the pilgrimage site in Svata Hora near Pribram situated just 1 hour drive from Prague.

Vojna Memorial - an authentically preserved prison area, which is unique in Central Europe. Located in between former uranium mines, it served as a forced labour camp in 1949-1951. The site was used as a prison for political prisoners of the communist regime until 1961. The Vojna labour camp was proclaimed a National Cultural Memorial in 2001.

The Holy Mountain - one of the most valuable architectural monuments of the early Baroque period in Bohemia. The well-known Marian pilgrimage site in Europe has been dominating the town for over 300 years. More than a century ago Pope Pius X bestowed Svata Hora (meaning Holy Mountain) with the title of basilica minor, which is granted to only the most important Christian churches in the world.
